A Pomfret Tale
We met at the Annual Pomfret Holiday Party 2017 in New York City. It was probably the easiest conversation that either of us had ever had and at the end of the night we exchanged numbers to play squash sometime.
The next morning Davinia texted Ethan. "I remember you saying that you were going to wake up at 4 to go surfing. Did you go?! I'm going to be reaaallly impressed if you did." To which he replied, "Yep! Just getting into the office." Later that day we made plans to "grab a glass of wine" and now you're invited to our wedding!
13th Street Story
We had been dating for a few months and things were going really well. We'd traveled to Bermuda, visited families, and were just loving life. Davinia was traveling in France for work when Ethan saw an apartment in Greenwich Village on East 13th St; two blocks down from where Davinia lived on West 13th St! It really was a good apartment (lots of closet space!) so he took it...hello neighbor!
"A very happy couple!"
We loved that 13th St. apartment...but 2020 happened and we moved Charleston, South Carolina, trading subways and bagels for palm trees and grits!
We love living in the Low Country and can't wait to share it with y'all! Cheers!
